Excellent Customer Service
Your home remodel is as important to us as it is to you. We understand that while we are remodeling your home, we are working where you live. This is an inconvenience to you that we try very hard to minimize where ever possible. We make every effort to control the work area, minimizing the dust and debris in other areas of your home, and we pick up after every shift. Construction in your home is a disruption to your daily lives and we want to make sure the length of time that you are inconvenienced is limited. We are very thorough during the design phase, attempting to identify any potential problems or possible delays ahead of time. We order all parts and construction material and have it on-site at the beginning of the remodel. This insures minimal delays.
In-House Construction Staff
We have a full time permanent crew on staff at Compass. As a result we can handle most remodels in-house, including plumbing work, without having to obtain a sub-contractor. Sub-contractors and conflicting schedules are one of the biggest reasons for construction delays and breaks in customer service. In addition, our workmen are some of the best in the business, many of them owned successful businesses before they came to work for Compass.

You might be asking, “What does that have to do with my remodeling project?” Because we manage over 600 properties on average, we have a larger volume of repairs and remodeling projects than the typical remodeling company. As a result, we can hire full time in-house artisans and depend less on sub-contractors. We are able to get better pricing and stock many parts in-house and can better respond to unexpected situations. And we’ve seen more than the average remodeling contractor and know 1st hand what situations can become expensive maintenance problems down the road. As a result, we will often recommend a relatively inexpensive upgrade while we’re doing the remodel to avoid very expensive repairs and inconvenience later. We also thoroughly understand our home market and know what improvements will have the greatest impact on your home value. Ultimately, because we are also a property management company, our remodeling customers save time and money.
